

Richard Thomas Golightly Jr. (Dick/Dickie) 62, passed away in his townhome of Keys Gate on August 14, 2014. Richard was born June 12, 1952 in Brackenridge, PA , just north of Pittsburgh to Richard and Gloria Golightly. Richard was a graduate of Miami Killian Senior High School, Class of 1970. He held a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Technology & Engineering from Florida International University, Class of 1988. He retired as Projects Supervisor with Florida Power & Light, Turkey Point Nuclear Power Plant, after 34 years of dedicated service. He had a passion for off shore fishing on the east coast of South Florida down to the Florida Keys. Recently, he became a patron of "Bunkers" bar & grill of Keys Gate Golf & Country Club were he liked to socialize and trade stories with new and longtime friends. He was also an avid sports enthusiast of the Miami Dolphins, Florida Marlins, and Pittsburgh Steelers along with college football in the fall.
He is survived by his children Heather 31, Richard III 29, Elizabeth Golightly 24 and his sister, Gloria (Anne) Golightly 52.
Memorial Service will be held on September 6, 2014 from 2-6pm at Branam Funeral Home in Homestead, Fl.
