Albert McDavid Watson peacefully went to his eternal home on July 20, 2021. Albert, Dad, or Grandaddy was a loved man and will be missed by many. He lived a life of significance and made a lasting impact on many people. He was a generous man and gave more on this earth than he took. Albert was an avid hunter, fisherman, Alabama sports fan, and gentleman farmer. He enjoyed most, spending time with his family especially while at his farm. Albert had a big heart and loved hard. He was survived by his wife Susan, his sons Bert and Richmond, his granddaughter Avery as well as many friends and loved ones. He was preceded in death by his father George Watson and his mother Nell. He will be missed, but he is in paradise now! Well done, good and faithful servant!
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, July 23, 2021 at 1 pm. The location will be Canterbury United Methodist Church (350 Overbrook Road, Mountain Brook, AL 35213).
In lieu of flowers the family requests that you consider donating to the King’s Home at the following link https://www.kingshome.com/onlinegiving or to The United Methodist Children’s home as these were his two favorite charities.
