He was born on July 12, 1934 in Mulga, AL to the late Alfred A. and Mildred F. Brown.
Mr. Brown enlisted in the United States Navy during the Korean War. In 1967 he entered the Aerospace Industry with Lockheed Aircraft, where he served as Business Agent, Union President of IAM , where he went before congress for workers rights.. He served in Skunk works which was America’s Aerospace spy technology in the 1960’s and 70’s and was involved on SR71. Mr. Brown also served as a President Democratic delegate on the Walter Mondale campaign. He was also on the Board of Directors of Delta Dental. After retirement he enjoyed traveling, golf, and being with his family.
Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Helen Brown and his son Stephen Ray Brown. He is survived by his children: Susie Reilly (Steve) and Jeff Brown (Natali); his grandchildren: Nick Russell, Natalie Russell, Bradley Russell, Stephen Brown, Justin Brown, Jessica Brown, and Ryan Brown; his brother George Brown (Paula); sister Sue Pilgreen and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
In keeping with the wishes of Mr. Brown, there will not be any memorial service.
