Andrew Clifton Brown

Drew was preceded in death by his grandparents, James Clifton “Cousin Cliff” Holman, Jr., Ann Holman Wyatt, and Roberta Hedrick Brown Boone. Survivors include his mother, Lynn Holman Brown; father, P. Daryl Brown; two sisters, Allison Shafer Brown and Emma Camille Brown; brother, Jake Hedrick Brown; and by his uncle, Kyle Holman (Christina).

Drew was a 2004 graduate of Homewood High School where he was an active member of Drama and Tech Theatre. He loved anything and everything associated with movies, film, and photography, and after high school was very involved in local theatre including as an actor in many theatre projects. Drew was the life of the party who was kind-hearted, fun-loving, and loved by so many of his friends and family. He had a true talent and gift for fixing anything involved with technology. He loved taking things apart and putting them back together. He worked as an IT Director for many companies, was a local film maker, and volunteered with Atrox Factory for 23 years, serving as the Control Room Manager for the last 15 years. Atrox Factory, considered to be one of the Top 10 Haunted Attractions in the United States, was a huge passion of Drew’s and the thousands of visitors throughout the years have enjoyed the integral part he played in helping to make it so successful.

Friend are cordially invited to a reception and celebration of life honoring Drew on Monday, the 14th of November 2022. Ridout’s Valley Chapel will host friends and family from five o’clock in the afternoon until eight o’clock in the evening at 1800 Oxmoor Road, Homewood, Alabama 35209.

In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorials be made via www.madewithlovethemovie.com. This was also a passion of Drew’s and is a crowd funded project he supported.
