Anne Goodman Cary, age 76, passed away on May 7, 2018 at her home after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. Anne was a graduate of Carrollton High School and attended the University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa. Her business career was spent in the insurance industry, first with Aetna Life and Casualty Insurance Company and later with Hilb, Rogal & Hamilton Company. She was an avid gardener, enjoyed cooking, decorating her home, art and travel.

She is survived by her devoted husband and caregiver, Robert Edward Cary; her sons Randy DeVoe Traylor, Jr. (Sam) and William Carl Traylor; her brothers William Lawson Goodman, Jr. (Joyce) and Jerry Alton Goodman (Betty); two grandsons (John and Thomas Traylor); one granddaughter (Ava Traylor); step children Cynthia Lynn Wilkerson (Bryan) and Mark David Cary (Kim); and four step grandchildren (Tara Cary, RJ Cary, Grant Wilkerson, and Spencer Cary). She is preceded in death by her parents, William Lawson Goodman and Eloise Ferguson Goodman; her brother Roy Charles Goodman, her sister Dorothy Goodman Williams, and her stepson Robert Wayne Cary.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 11 at Ridout's Homewood Chapel The family will receive friends at 10:00 AM until time of the service beginning at 11:00 AM. Following the service for Anne there will be a reception at Ridout's Valley Chapel. All are welcome to attend the graveside service afterward at Spring Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Carrollton, Alabama. Biography
