

BRAGG, AUSTIN TAYLOR Our precious son and brother, Austin, passed away Monday, October 10, 2011, as a result of a vehicular accident. Austin was born April 10, 1987. He was a 2005 graduate of Vestavia Hills High School and currently employed with Brasfield & Gorrie. He was a member of Vestavia Hills United Methodist Church and most recently attended Church of the Highlands. Austin was a gifted carpenter and loved working with his hands. His favorite past times were hunting and fishing. Austin loved his family and friends unselfishly. It was his wish to be an organ donor and this last act of unselfishness will allow at least 5 others to live on. Austin was predeceased by his grandparents, Bit and Ruth Thompson, Crawford, MS and Bobby and Bess Bragg, Starkville, MS. He is survived by his parents, Terry and Walter Hunter, Vestavia Hills, and Bob and Patti Bragg, Birmingham; sister, Kayla Hunter, Vestavia Hills; grandparents, Walter and Ann Hunter, Birmingham; uncles, Grady (Debbie) Thompson, Crawford, MS, Richard (Meri) Hunter, Sugar Hill, GA, Larry (Anita) Hunter, Fairhope, AL; "Mama" Polly Chambers, Vestavia Hills, AL; a great uncle and cousins. Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 13, 2011 at Vestavia Hills United Methodist Church, 2061 Kentucky Avenue, Vestavia Hills, AL with a funeral service to immediately follow at the church. Austin's uncle, the Reverend Richard Hunter, will conduct the service with Pastor Ruth Grissom. A private burial is planned for Friday, October 14, at Equality United Methodist Church Cemetery near Lake Martin where Austin loved spending time with his family.
