Bobbi found joy in the simple pleasures of life, particularly in the art of cooking. Her culinary skills were renowned, and she delighted in preparing meals for her loved ones. In addition to her passion for cooking, Bobbi dedicated her time to volunteering and giving back to her community. Her compassionate spirit and willingness to lend a helping hand were truly admirable.

An avid traveler, Bobbi embarked on numerous adventures, immersing herself in different cultures and embracing the beauty of the world. Her journeys enriched her life and broadened her perspective, leaving her with cherished memories.

Bobbi's memory will forever be treasured by her devoted family. She is survived by her loving son, Ward Smith, her beloved daughter, Bonita Bender, and her cherished grandchildren, Alex Smith, Maria Wilmas (Chris), Isabella Smith, Mitch Bender (Emma), Eli Bender, and Caroline Bender. She was preceded in death by her adoring spouse, Rex Smith.

Bobbi found solace and strength in her faith, and she was a faithful member of Cahaba Heights Baptist Church in Cahaba Heights. Her devotion to her religious beliefs was an integral part of her life, providing her with comfort and guidance.

Funeral services to honor and celebrate Bobbi's life will be held on Friday, January 19, 2024, at 11 am at Cahaba Heights Baptist Church. Family, friends and members of the community are invited to pay their respects and bid farewell to this remarkable woman.

Bobbi's legacy will endure through the memories she created and the lives she touched. Her kindness, generosity, and love will forever be remembered. May her soul find eternal peace in the embrace of the divine.
