I cannot think about Bette without seeing a beautiful smile and happy Christian.  Her faithful service in the preschool area and missions was always done with a smile.  She loved her family and taught them to love the Lord too.  I pray you will be aware of God's comfort every day.  Ruth Todd

So sorry for the loss of Bette. Never will there be better supporters of square dancing in the Birmingham area. Bette will be greatly missed.

I will miss Bette every day of the rest of my life.  We worked and played
together for 20 years until we both retired.  We would go every year to the
beach and relax, do crafts, laugh and have a high old time for a week, leaving the husbands and children to fend for themselves. I think her favorite
thing was the square dancing she and Jack did and she was always full of
stories about the fun they had and all the good food.  I have the recipe book
she gave me of some of the best recipes and her personal recipes she shared over the years.  Hope she and Jack are having a great reunion and
hope she continues to look for Ed and I as she promised she would.

Two of my favorite people were Betty and  Jack Lloyd.  Betty gets to join Jack in heaven now, dancing in the clouds.  Thank God they got to be with us on this earth for a little while.
