Beverly Anne Chace passed away Feb 23rd, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents, Forrest Arthur Chace and Dorothy Simonton Chace. She is survived by her sister, Dorothy Chace Jackson of Lake Martin, formerly of Mountain Brook, and her nieces, Amelia Jackson Jeffery (Robert) and Lisa Chace Jackson of Vestavia Hills, and Dana Jackson Davidson (Mark) of New City, New York. She is also survived by her great nephews Jeffrey Chace Davidson and Jackson Chace Jeffery, and her great niece Reese Elizabeth Jeffery.
She is a graduate of Stephens College, Columbia, Missouri and Syracuse University where she received her Bachelor's and Master's degrees. She was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority. She worked in media for Luckie Forney Advertising before moving to Atlanta, Georgia where she was employed by McCann Erickson. She later opened her own advertising agency, CHACE & CO. One of her most prestigious accounts was the entire Southeastern Region of Disney. She served as president of American Women in Radio and Television and was listed in Outstanding Women in America.
After returning to Birmingham, she became a member of Southminster Presbyterian Church. She was a longtime supporter of the arts where she was a member of the Ballet Women's Committee, Birmingham Music Club, Opera Birmingham, Birmingham Regional Arts Commission, Terrific New Theatre and Summerfest Boards. She was also a member of the Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary, Metropolitan Dinner Club, Cherokee Forest Garden Club and The Club, Inc.
Services will be held at Southminster Presbyterian Chuch on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at 2:00. pm, officiated by the Reverend Dr. Thomas Bryson and Dan Allison with visitation following in Grace Hall.
