Billy Brown London, age 88 of Rockford, Al passed away January 7, 2016. He was a World War II veteran serving on the USS Starlight. Billy London is preceded in death by his son Billy Larry London, father Rufus Brown London, mother Ida Mae Harris, brother Joe London, Robert London, Jim Harris, sister Lula Phillips Carlisle. He is survived by wife of 65 years, Sara Ellen London, daughter Patricia Ann Courtney (Carl), John Paul London (Kay), Richard Kevin London (Marla), brothers Tommy London (Joan), Mack London (Andree), Edward London (Lorene), sisters Mary Reynolds (Lewis), Carolyn Hilyer, Gladys Sullivan, Doris Stroud. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, Joseph Michael London (Jennifer), Sean Jerrome Courtney (Brent), Jocelyn Marie London, and Amanda Leigh McCollough (John) 12, great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends @ Ridout’s Valley Chapel, Tuesday, January 12, 2016 from 9am to 10 am with funeral services @ Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, Al.
