Braxton graduated from Woodlawn High School and attended Bob Jones University. He excelled in many occupations throughout his life of 83 years. He sold automobiles at Richard Kelley Chevrolet, co-owned an Exon service station, and was an independent painting contractor. He loved woodworking, and made many wonderful things in his basement shop.
While working and helping out at Alliance Christian School, he managed and drove the school buses, and coached soccer. He was outgoing and witty, always making those around him smile. He was loving and generous, and an excellent cook! He loved watching game shows on television - especially Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune!
