Brian D. Savage

Brian D. Savage age 78 passed away on December 16, 2019. He is survived by daughter Leigh Savage Siebert, son Brian D. Savage Jr, (Kari), grandchildren Brady Siebert, Cora Savage, sister Terri Cason (Larry), and brother Cliff Chambliss (Kathryn),Visitation 10 AM Fri, Dec 20 at Ridout Valley Chapel Homewood, followed by 11 AM service.

Born in Guatemala, Brian came to the United States and became a U.S. Citizen at the age of eleven. He graduated Woodlawn High School, where he was a member of the Warblers. He then served in the U.S. Army for three years. A true ‘people person’, he had a kind and giving nature and was thought highly of by all who knew him. He had a passion for life, a big sense of humor and an appreciation for the little things. He also had a love of airplanes and flying, once owning his own plane, as well as a strong interest and knowledge in U.S. and World History. Back in his younger years, Brian enjoyed sky diving and water skiing, performing many ski shows with the Warrior Ski Club. Brian was a true entrepreneur and inventor, with several U.S. patents and a successful business. He was a Beloved Father, Grandfather, Brother and friend who will be deeply missed.
