Carl Finley (Finn) Israel was born October 14, 2015 and after 30 short days passed from this life into the arms of Jesus and the beautiful home that was prepared for him by the Lord long ago. The date of passing was November 13, 2015 and his parents Griff and Miriam Israel were there by his side. Finn was diagnosed with a heart disorder long before his birth. After his delivery at UAB Hospital he went immediately “across the bridge” to the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit of Children’s Hospital of Alabama. There he received the best care imaginable day and night for 30 days. Griff and Miriam were there every day getting to love and know Finn, and learning to love and appreciate the entire staff on the fourth floor intensive care unit. The love and concern shown to not only little Finn but to them and the family surpassed understanding. They want to extend their heartfelt love to all of these amazing professionals. The list would be too long to call each person by name but Griff and Miriam say, “You know who you are.”
Finn is survived by a very large family. His memory will live on in the minds of:
