Carol Ferris King

Prior to moving to Birmingham, Alabama, Carol enjoyed her years of volunteer activities which included Volunteer Kingsport were she was a certified CASA representative, working at the Kingsport women’s shelter and being a member of the funding committee for the Chattanooga symphony. More recently Carol served as President of the Greystone Farms homeowners asso-ciation.

Carol, was a devoted grandmother, enjoyed spending time with her friends, and loved being at the lake.

She is survived by her son Jack F. King (Bill Martin), daughter Elizabeth “Beth” King Hagerty (Cooper), grandchildren Will Hagerty, Kathleen Hagerty, sister Barbara F. Richards, (Stanley Chervin), and nephew, Mark Richards, (Michelle ).

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 12th at 2:00pm at Cahaba Ridge Retirement community located in Birmingham Alabama. In lieu flowers,contributions or donations may be made to The Kings Ranch, https://www.kingshome.com.
