Carpenter, Carolyn Horner a lifelong resident of Birmingham passed away on October 21st at the age of 83. Memorial services will be held Saturday, October 23rd at 11:30 am at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the Tilson Room of the church. Her husband, Gilbert Milton Carpenter, her parents Harry and Mary Kathleen Horner, her sisters, Kathleen Carlton and Dorothy Bates, and her brother, Harry Horner, predeceased her. She is survived by her two sons, Gil Carpenter (Kathy) and Harry (Barbara) Carpenter and her daughter, Carolyn Henderson; grandchildren, Ashley Bazemore (Tom), Kelly Webb (Ezell), Tracy Colley (Clay), Courtney Andre (John), Brent Carpenter (Amber), Wesley Carpenter, and Payne Henderson. She is also survived by six great grandsons.
