Carolyn Cooper Limbaugh

LIMBAUGH, CAROLYN COOPER Mrs. Carolyn Cooper Limbaugh, age 86, of Mountain Brook, Alabama died September 13, 2011. She was born in Carrollton, GA, April 13, 1925. She moved to Birmingham and graduated from Woodlawn High School. She was preceded in death by her parents Mr. and Mrs. Roy T. Cooper, her sisters June Bradley, Elaine Whitley, Inez C. Miller and her brother Roy T. Cooper. She is survived by her husband Joseph T. Limbaugh, her children Jane Brakefield (Buddy), Joseph T. Limbaugh, Jr. (Gene), Jill Real (Gary) and her grandchildren Joseph T. Limbaugh III (Meaghan) of Atlanta, GA, Gene Austin Webb ( Van) , Jane Kate Real, H. Cooper Real, brother, Harris Cooper, and sisters Polly Weaver and Martha Rodriguez. She was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother. She was a lifelong member of the Methodist Church. A family service will be held on September 16, 2011 at Johns-Ridout's Southside Chapel followed by burial in Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to The National Alzheimer's Association . Services are under the direction of Ridout's Valley Chapel, Homewood.
