From the Antarctica to the North Pole to remote areas of China, she enjoyed her time traveling and meeting new friends all over the world. She was a joy to be around, well liked, and well thought of by her many family members and friends. She also enjoyed furthering her education by enrolling very late in life at UAB taking literary classes, history classes, and English language classes. These classes served her well as she journaled daily while traveling.
Charles Ann was a believer in Jesus Christ and understood completely 2 Timothy 4:7, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” She was ready to meet her Lord and Savior and joyfully did so when her race on this earth was over.
