Chin Thi Phan

Ms. Phan Chin passed July 29, 2026, at UAB Hospital after a brief illness. She worked hard everyday of her life. Even in retirement, she was always on the move with long walks in the neighborhood, gardening, cleaning and cooking for her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, and three of her six children. She had the joy of living with or near all three of her remaining children and her nine grandchildren.

Friends are welcome to come to the visitation for her Sunday, August 2, 2026, 9:30 AM - 12:00 noon. It will be held at Ridout’s Valley Chapel, 1800 Oxmoor Road, Homewood, 35209.
