I worked with Danny for many years,  He left an example for his family and all of us on how to be selfless, humble, a hard worker, considerate.  Heaven has gained a good man.  Rest in peace Danny, you will be missed.

Such a genuine man.  He always had a smile on his face and was so courteous to everyone he came in contact with in our office.  I am glad I met Mr. Battles.  He reminded me why I chose oncology as a career path.  He loved everyone, and shared it each time we saw him.  
He was always encouraging each patient he came in contact with.
Our hearts are heavy, but he has won the battle.

I worked with Danny for a long time and always found him to be so very kind and always asking about my family and me.  He genuinely cared about other people more than himself.  He was not a complainer.  He was a hard worker and loved our Lord and Savior. 
 Working with him was a pleasure!  He leaves behind something for his family to be so very proud of.

Every time I look at one of these photos, as a cousin who is one of many in our Cox family, I always see our grandmother in Danny.  If you knew her you will remember her presence.  She quietly filled up a room whenever we were all near. And if she was talking to you or listening even in the chaos, she was present.  She listened to every word we said, always had the sweetest responses and always made each of us think we were really her favorite. That's what I'll remember most about Danny.  It could be years since we had seen each other but whenever we had the opportunity to visit, his words were so kind and his hugs were great. And he left enough love and those hugs here with you  until you see him again one day.  Much love to you all,

Danny was an incredible partner to my sister and fit into our family perfectly. To me, we felt like friends from the second my sister started dating him. He was warm, kind, and always ready to have a good time. ✝️

Although you are no longer physically with us, you will forever remain in our hearts and your spirit will always be felt. Thank you for coming into our lives and enriching all of us. You were an amazing person that showed us all how to live life to the  fullest and give back to others.
