Connor attended Homewood High Schools, and John Carroll High School. While at Homewood High School, he was a member of the wrestling team and served as a drummer in the Homewood High School Marching Band. Connor was a member of Cub Scout Pack 397 and earned the rank of Star as a Boy Scout in Troop 97 at Trinity United Methodist Church. His favorite event every year was the Pinewood Derby. He never had the fastest car, but he always won Most Creative. A self-taught artist, Connor created pencil and paper drawings of people and animals so realistic professional artists were amazed at his work.
A sincere, hard-working and kind-hearted young man, Connor found absolute joy in building, repairing, and improving things. He spent countless hours working on cars and he was meticulous in every single detail. He loved to fix things and his entrepreneurial spirit showed in the way he looked for solutions and took initiative.
Connor was a deep thinker with a huge heart. He found meaning in the simple things. He loved a good sunset, pausing to notice beauty that others might pass by. He loved to try new things, especially adventurous foods. He loved his family and had a deep relationship with all of his grandparents, dropping in for frequent visits.
In his working life, Connor served as a project manager with his father in their family window tinting business, Lightwave Solutions. Connor learned his trade working side by side with his father from an early age. He always brought care, reliability, and a conscientious approach to the responsibilities entrusted to him. He was truly a remarkable and loving young man.
Connor is survived by his dad, Andy Fagan; by his mom, Stacia Phillips (Bill); paternal grandparents, Jack and Joan Fagan; maternal grandparents, Jim and Carol Dickinson; step siblings, Will and Laura Phillips; aunts and uncles, Meredith and Jeff Wittman, Phillip and Marna Dickinson, Amanda and Hill Carmichael, and Jon and Greer Mills.
