Dan is preceded in death by his son, Clayton Chambers; mother, Dana Meyer Chambers; and his father, William Douglas Chambers.
He is survived by his sons, Barrett Chambers and Anderson Chambers; his brother, Rob Chambers; and his half-sister, Shelly Chambers.
Dan spent time working in food service and landscaping over the years. He enjoyed being in the kitchen and at the grill preparing food to share with family and friends. He also loved cheering on the Alabama Crimson Tide. Dan’s pride and greatest joy was in his sons and spending time with them. Dan was a gentle soul who will be remembered for his big heart and joyful presence.
A celebration of life is being planned for a future date to be determined.
