

Born in Birmingham, Alabama on July 5, 1957, Dolores was the daughter of the late Michael and Aphrodite "Dottie" Lane. Dolores graduated from Homewood High School in 1976 and then graduated from Christine Valmy in New York as an Esthetician.
Dolores was a passionate and dedicated professional in the skincare industry for over 40 years. She found joy in helping clients achieve their skincare goals while fostering a sense of beauty and confidence. Dolores had a genuine love for animals, was compassionate to others, and always had a listening ear and helping hand to those in need. Devoted to her family, she was a constant source of love and understanding in their lives.
Dolores was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Aphrodite "Dottie" Lane and by her sister, Helen Lane Sowle. She is survived by her two brothers, Chris Lane (Leslie) and Samuel Lane; and her sister, Annette Lane. She is also survived by her four nephews, Robby, Michael, Clinton and Ryan; and three nieces, Michelle, Christine, and Mallory.
Services will be held privately for the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests with gratitude that memorials honoring Dolores be directed to the Birmingham Humane Society or to any other organization caring for animals.
