Dorothy Ann Rose, age 85, of Birmingham, Alabama, passed into Eternal Life on Thursday, August 6, 2026.
Born in 1941 in Manchester, New Hampshire, Dorothy lived all over the United States. For the last few years, she lived in Birmingham, Alabama, and was a member of St. George Melkite Church. She was an Associate of Holy Resurrection Monastery in St. Nazianz, Wisconsin. Dorothy loved singing, cooking and wine-tasting.
She is survived by her sister, Alice; her children Justin Richard and Kimberly; grandchildren, nieces, nephews and her grand-pups.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish may donate to the St. George Building Fund.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 11th, at St. George the Great Martyr Church located at 425 16th Avenue South, Birmingham, Alabama 35205.
Friends are cordially invited to the visitation from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.
Immediately following the funeral service, burial will be held at Elmwood Cemetery.
