Emily Hill Lalor (91) was born February 7, 1934 in Elizabeth, New Jersey and died peacefully July 11, 2025. She received a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Randolph Macon Women’s College, where she was a member of Kappa Delta sorority. She was a very talented artist and studied fine arts at University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Emily is predeceased by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Robert Hill (Eleanor Mohr) and daughter Emily Lawson Wade of Birmingham. She is survived by daughter Kathleen Howard Lawson and grandchildren Mel and Lyda Emily Hill McComber of Birmingham.
The family will hold a private internment at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church. The family requests memorials be made to Greater Birmingham Humane Society or O’Neil Library. Arrangements by Ridouts Valley chapel.
