Emily Lindsey

Emily Lindsey, age 93, of Vestavia, Alabama passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2022. Emily Lindsey was born October 30, 1928 in Birmingham, Alabama to the late George P. and Emily L. Branyon. Emily graduated from Auburn University in 1952. There she met and married her husband, the late Walter T. Lindsey.

The majority of her life was spent in southeast Florida, where she worked for the Harris Corporation as a Logistics Specialist on projects that included the space shuttle.

Emily was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister. She is survived by her four daughters: Barbara Skidmore, Leigh Reynolds, Carol Kraftsow, and Joyce Baker--as well as seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
