Faye Durham Kidd

Faye Durham Kidd, 78, born May 16, 1934 in Anderson, South Carolina. She was a resident of Shoal Creek, Alabama. She died Friday, Nov. 22, 2013. She was the daughter of Alton Pierce Durham and Louise Shell Durham. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Jack Whitson Kidd, three children, Dr. Mark D. Kidd (Mandy) of Birmingham, Brant W. Kidd (Gail) of Birmingham, Alan D. Kidd of Birmingham and four grandchildren, Jack Kidd, Louise Kidd, Melissa Kidd and Chloe Kidd.

Faye graduated from Anderson High School and graduated from Converse College in Spartanburg, South Carolina. She loved her state of South Carolina and especially her farm in Abbeville, South Carolina. She loved pets and cheering for Auburn. She will be missed by all. The family would like to thank Leisha Bonilla for being such a wonderful caregiver.

Visitation will be held Monday, Nov. 25, 2013, 11-1 at Ridouts Valley Chapel in Homewood. Burial will be in Anderson, South Carolina at the Forrest Lawn Memorial Cemetery.
