Frances W. Caudle

Frances Rebecca Walker Caudle, age 92, of Homewood, went to her heavenly home on July 22, 2019, after a long illness. She was born November 26, 1926 to the late Lawrence Franklin Walker and Laura Frances Baker Walker of Blue Springs, AL. Frances spent her early years as a stay-at-home mom. Later working 25 years with children at Dawson Memorial Baptist Church and was a long time member of the church she dearly loved.

Frances is preceded in death by her parents, 7 brothers and sisters, her husband Ray Chambliss Caudle and her son James Walker Caudle. She is survived by her three children: Paul Caudle (Joy), Anita Caudle and Richard Lyn Caudle (Fara) and daughter in law Nora Caudle. Frances was proud of her eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren and considered each of them a gift that she left for the world.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation in the Chapel of Ridout’s Valley Chapel on Wednesday, July 31st beginning at two o’clock in the afternoon with the memorial service following at three o’clock in the afternoon.

The family request that in lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Frances Caudle be made to the UAB Alzheimer’s Disease Center –uab.edu/medicine/alzheimers
