Gary Thomas Smith, 61, a loving husband, father, son-in-law and friend. He grew up in Cahaba Heights with parents John C. and Inez Smith. He was a graduate of Shades Valley High School, class of 1974. He worked for the United States Postal Service for thirty-three years. He was a member of Cahaba Heights Baptist Church. He leaves here his wife of twenty years, Tina, his children Kinsey, Griffin and Kelsie Smith; a large family who loved him and he loved, as well as numerous friends.
Visitation will be at Cahaba Heights Baptist Church on Friday, October 27th beginning at 12 noon with the funeral following at 1:00 pm. Burial in adjoining cemetery.
