Age 66, passed away on May 28, 2013. He dedicated his life to serving the Lord, his family, and his patients. Dr. Hill only rarely refused a round of golf, a grandchild’s activity, or Braves baseball. Few who knew him could forget the ever-present joke, funny story, or his deep belly laugh. For his family and friends, those memories are forever second to an unyielding appreciation for his generosity, understanding, patience, and love.
He leaves his wife of 45 years, Betty; his daughter, Michelle Hale; son-in-law Bryan Hale; and six grandchildren: George Hill (12); Ben Hill (11); Emma Hill (11); Glen Hale (7); Gibbs Hale (5); and Graham Hale (9 mos.).
The family welcomes visitors from 10:00 to 11:00 on Friday, May 31, at Ridout’s Valley Chapel in Homewood. A service will follow at 11:00.
