George Mandy, age 90 passed away on April 6, 2017. He served in the United States Navy during World War II and then in the United States Army before receiving his Honorable Discharge. He retired from Southern Natural Gas.
Mr. Mandy is survived by his wife of 63 years Anne C. Mandy; son Don Mandy (Kathy); daughter Lynda lacey (Joseph); grandchildren: Mason (Melissa) Mandy, Brittain (Ling) Mandy, Amanda Charles, Art (Kenyon) Charles and Allyson (Chris) Colmenares and his great grandchildren: Liam Mandy, Sofia Mandy and Michael Colmenares.
The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Ridout's Valley Chapel with the funeral service at 2:00 p.m.
