HOOKER, HAROLD R. Harold R. Hooker, age 79, of Homewood, AL died on February 25, 2011. He attended St. Mary's High School in St. Louis, MO. and served in the U.S. Army 1951- 1954 in the 6th Infantry Regiment. He was employed as a salesman at Carborundum Corporation for 28 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Anna Hooker. Mr. Hooker is survived by his wife, Barbara Hooker; son, Stephen Hooker of Milton FL; daughter, Elizabeth Tewell of Tequesta, FL; grandchildren, James Hooker, David Hooker and Lindsay Tewell; brother, Charles Hooker of St. Louis, MO. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, 10:00,March 1, 2011 at Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of Flowers, the family request donations be made to the Salvation Army. Services are under the direction of Ridout's Valley Chapel (879-3401) Homewood, Al.
