Hazel McDaniel Imbragulio

Hazel was born in Taylorsville, Mississippi on June 6, 1927 to Elmer and Minnie Blakeney McDaniel. In 1947 she married John Vincent Imbragulio. From this marriage four children were born, John Vincent (Vin), Lynn, Paul and Van. The family made their home in Jackson, Mississippi. She worked as an Administrative Assistant for the Mississippi State Board of Contractors. Hazel loved animals, gardening and cooking for her family. Her grandchildren loved her chicken and dumplings. She loved her grandchildren like only a Memaw could.

She is survived by her children Paul Imbragulio, Van (Lisa) Imbragulio and Lynn (Randy) Palmer; grandchildren Anne Palmer, John Imbragulio, Jolie Imbragulio, Leah Imbragulio and Lauren Aday. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Minnie McDaniel; husband, John Vincent Imbragulio; son, John Vincent Imbragulio, Jr. and granddaughter Jenny Palmer.

The family will receive friends 10-11 on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at prince of Peace Catholic Church in Hoover. A funeral Mass will follow at 11. Online condolences may be made at www.ridoutsvalleychapel.com.
