Helen (Hinkie) Hinkle Gammill

.Helen Hinkle Gammill, known to her family and friends as Hinkie, of Vestavia Hills, AL, passed away March 17, 2017, at the age of 95. Visitation for Mrs. Gammill will be held Tuesday, March 21 at Vestavia Hills Baptist Church at 1:00 PM followed by a Celebration of Life service at 2:00 PM. She was pre-deceased by John E. Gammill, her beloved husband of 56 years and her son, John Thomas Gammill. Hinkie is survived by daughters Dr. Helen A. Gammill of Birmingham, Diana Hagler (Dr. Robert) of Dothan, Freida Gammill of Birmingham, and granddaughters Heather Gammill Adams (Jeff), Ashley Gammill Moran (Dan), Brook Hagler (Cliff Simpson), Hunter Chapman (Tom), and Kathryn Van Wie (Doug), and ten beloved great grandchildren. The family wishes to express their appreciation for the love and caring extended to Hinkie by Jackie Rogers, Roz Ross and Doris Johnson.
