Hilda Faye Parker

Hilda Faye Parker, age 77, died peacefully Sunday afternoon August 23, 2015. Faye was born on February 8, 1938 to the late Willie Daniel Isbell and Hilda Gertrude Isbell in Birmingham, AL. She was an honored member of The Eastern Star, earning her 50 year pin and enjoying every minute of it. She was a member of Wooten Chapel Baptist Church.

Faye was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 63 years, Billy G. Parker, Sr. She is survived by her son Billy G. Parker, Jr. (Kathy); her grandsons: Billy Blake Parker (Katie) and Shelby Chase Parker; her great granddaughter Bryndle Leigh Parker; her sisters: Jean Thomas (Chuck), Louise Patterson and Helen Rose (Bill) and by a host of niece’s nephew’s and other family member and friends.

The family will receive friends at Ridout’s Valley Chapel on Tuesday, August 25th from 5:30 until 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be Wednesday, August 26th at 3:00 p.m. at Wooten Baptist Church with burial following in the adjoining cemetery.
