Howell J. Duke

Mr. Duke was preceded in death by his wife Bernice L. Duke; his son Ronald Duke; his parents William H and Idajoe E. Duke; his brothers Ernest, Tommy, Ed, Hub, J.P. and John F. Duke; and his sisters: Ruby Miller and Edith Birchfield. He is survived by his son: Donald W. Duke; his daughter: Brenda D. Beavers; his 6 grandchildren: Chris Duke (Sandy), Ron Duke, Jr. (Jennifer), Sherry Beavers, Craig Beavers, Wayne Duke and Valerie Blair and by his 7 great grandchildren: Katie Whatley, Shelby Duke, Zane Duke, Claudia Blair, Triston Duke, Aaron Duke and Aubrey Blair.

A visitation will be held on Monday, June 30, 2014 at Ridout’s Valley Chapel from 5p.m. until 7 p.m. The funeral service will be on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at Cahaba Heights Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. Graveside services will follow at Wooten’s Chapel Cemetery.
