Inez Corsentino

Inez J. Corsentino, age 93, passed away peacefully August 26, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She was a lifelong resident of Birmingham, Alabama. Mrs. Corsentino was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, friend and an inspiration to all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony “Tony” Corsentino; parents, Charlie and Annie Carpri; brothers, Mickey Carpri and Vincent Carpri and sister, Marie Giambrone. She is survived by her son, Charles A. Corsentino (Cindy); daughters, Janet Northington (Mike) and Jean Tombrello (Frank); grandchildren, Jared Tombrello, Leslie Dollar (Scott), Tony Corsentino (Sarah) and 4 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends 5-7 on Sunday, August 30, 2015 at Ridout’s Valley Chapel in Homewood. A rosary service will follow at 7:00. Funeral mass will be 11:00 on Monday, August 31, 2015 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church with the burial following at Elmwood Cemetery.
