LAWRENCE, INEZ COX Inez Cox Lawrence age 83 of Homewood, AL, went home to be with the Lord on June 11,2011. Mrs. Lawrence was born in Thorsby, AL in Chilton County, she had been a resident of Homewood for over 40 years, and she was a long time member of Dawson Memorial Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Claudius Owen Lawrence Jr. ,she is survived by her three daughters, Jane ( Lawrence)and George Ehlers of Huntsville, AL, Patricia (Lawrence) and Lee Higgins of Papillion, NE, Susan(Lawrence) and Larry Burgess of Birmingham, AL , Grandchildren, Lindsay (Higgins) and Joe Anderson , Ava Marie Anderson, and Jordan Higgins all of Papillion, NE. Visitation for Mrs. Lawrence will be Monday, June 13,2011 from 5;00 PM to 7:00PM at Ridout's Valley Chapel, with a graveside service on Tuesday, June 14,2011 at 10:00 AM at Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the building fund at Dawson Memorial Baptist Church,114 Oxmoor Road, Homewood, AL. 35209 Ridout's Valley Chapel directing the services.
