Jackson Cartee, age 92, of Hoover died on October 11, 2017. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Ozilene Shelby Cartee, 2 sons, Michael Cartee (Heather) and Jonathan Cartee (Mathana). The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 17 from 10 to 11 at Ridout's Valley Chapel in Homewood. Inurnment will follow at 12:30, Alabama National Veterans Cemetery in Montevallo.
