James (Jim) Barnhill, Jr., 91, of Hueytown, AL went home to be with his LORD and Savior on Saturday, August 13, 2016. He was an army veteran of WWII, a volunteer at Princeton Hospital and a faithful member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. His passion was loving his family and sharing the gospel. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Wanda; son, Jimmy (Marla) Barnhill; daughter-in-law, Denise Barnhill; grandchildren, Mindy (John) Ellis, Chip Barnhill, Elaina Barnhill; great-grandchildren, Chance, Colby, Chylyn Barnhill and Kolby Day. Jim was preceded in death by his son, Tommy Barnhill. The family will receive friends Monday, August 15th from 5-7pm with memorial service following on Tuesday at 2pm, both at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church, Hueytown. In lieu of flowers make donations to Gideon's International.
