James K Brabston

James Kenneth Brabston, age 49 died recently. He is survived by his children; Sarah Elizabeth and James Campbell Brabston; his parents Mr. & Mrs. Eugene Brabston; brother Gene (Trinka) Brabston; sisters Kathryn (John) Buck and Michelle (Mike) Rose.

Mr. Brabston was a graduate of the University of Alabama where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Master’s degree in Tax Accounting. He also graduated from the Alabama School of Law. Mr. Brabston practiced law in Huntsville and Birmingham and was a former Senior VP of Regions Bank, Huntsville. He was a member of Phi delta Theta Fraternity, Country Club of Birmingham and St. Luke’s Episcopal Church.

The family will received friends on Saturday, October 12, 2013 beginning at 11:30 a.m. with a Memorial Service beginning at 12:30 pm at Ridout’s Valley Chapel in Homewood. Memorials may be made to St. Luke’s Episcopal Church or a charity of your choice.
