Carolyn and family, you have been in my heart and on my mind constantly. When I saw this handsome picture of James it really stirred my heart. He had such a powerful influence in every sphere of life but my most meaningful memories are from the lessons he taught at FBC adult Bible classes.... I still have things written in the front of my Bible that impressed me from his lessons. He believed what he taught and it was so dynamic. One Sunday he said " Never shall the cross be so precious to us as when death is near. If we have embraced Christ, the lamb without blemish, we shall never really die! We may have a turbulent entry into heaven with suffering or trials, but we are promised a safe landing at the right place!" And James had his safe landing into the arms of Jesus. We miss him already. Love to his dear family from Mary Emily and Bob.

James Holley is one of the most kind and good hearted men that I have ever known. I cannot imagine this earth without his loving Christian presence. My heart goes out to his family and I know how much they must be missing him right now.
