James E. Morrison, age 81, of Alabaster, Alabama passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2022. James was born December 20, 1940 to the James E. Morrison and Grace Scott Morrison. James retired as a Sergeant from Homewood Police Department after 28 years services and served his country in the United States Army Reserve. He loved going to the beach and received his charter boat license in 1980.
James is survived by his wife of 41 years Gayle Morrison, son Jimmy Morrison, 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
A visitation for James will be held Thursday, March 3, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Ridout's Valley Chapel, 1800 Oxmoor Road, Homewood, AL 35209, with the funeral service following at 1:00p.m.
Burial will follow at Croft Acton Cemetery, 2436 Old Rocky Ridge Road, Birmingham, AL 35216.
