Jo Ann Stewart passed away on July 2, 2021. She was predeceased by her parents Terry O. East, Sr., and Ruby Ferguson East, brother Terry O. East, Jr., and husband Daniel G. Stewart. She is survived by her daughters Bethany Stewart, Suzanne (Carl) Bailey and Teri Stewart. Surviving grandchildren are Clint (Bridgett) Bailey, Malea (T.J.) McClannahan, Bradley Bailey and Stewart Bailey and two great-granddaughters, Lillian Bailey and Amelie McClannahan.
Jo Ann was born in Birmingham, Alabama, graduated from Ensley High School, Samford University, and received her Master's Degree from UAB.
In lieu of flowers, the famly requests donations be made to Big Oak Ranch or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 7, 2021 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Mountain Brook Baptist Church with a Memorial Service following.
