John R. Frawley, Jr., age 80, passed away on July 30, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones. Born May 7, 1946, John lived a life marked by love, compassion, and a genuine regard for the people around him.
A lawyer by calling, he treated his clients and colleagues as family. He was proud of the practice he built and loved the times he shared with his office ladies.
An Auburn fan to the core, he held his loyalties with pride and enjoyed the fellowship that comes with shared traditions. He was an avid animal lover and would often take in a stray. John loved to host parties around the holidays to make sure no one felt lonely and often shared a meal with someone that needed companionship. Above all, John cherished his “Little Red Haired Girl” (Linda), loving her with a devotion that remained central to his life and his heart.
John was preceded in death by his parents, John Frawley, Sr. and Vernell; and his brother, Spencer Frawley.
John is survived by his wife, Linda Frawley; stepdaughter, Jenny Faulk (Andy); grandchildren, Rebecca Faulk and Logan Faulk; sister, Elaine Sweeney; and niece, Liann Farmer.
