Johnny lived a life marked by steady devotion and hard work—qualities that shaped both his days and the people who loved him. He built his life with purpose and persistence, and he was deeply beloved by those who had the privilege of knowing him.
Johnny worked for Stockham Valve and Fittings before opening Johnny Spradlin Auto Parts in 1957, a venture he continued with dedication until his retirement in 2020. His long working life reflected a deep sense of responsibility and commitment, carried out with the kind of consistency that earns lasting respect. Johnny and Frances are members of Clearbranch Methodist Church.
Above all, Johnny adored and was devoted to his wife of 74 years, Frances. He was a great father to Alan and Shelia, and a beloved grandfather to Jennifer (Mike), Josh, Natalie (Mark), and Addie (Kerry). He was also a cherished great-grandfather to Mikayla, Lexi, Maddie, Beau, Sawyer Ruth, and Jeremiah John "JJ". His family and grandchildren were always in his heart. He is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
