Mr. and Mrs. Stewart,

I'm so deeply saddened and bothered by what happened to Jonathan. He was a great friend and had a unique way about him. I met him on spring break in Panama City and we begun a good college friendship afterwards. He did so much for me as well as yourself and I appreciate the Stewart family inviting me into the home as they did. Jonathan will be deeply missed and remembered by everyone. Sorry I couldn't make it to the funeral but I was definitely there in spirit. Condolences to you all.

I just heard about Jonathan and I am so sorry for your loss.  Although I hadn't seen him recently, I have very fond memories of him when he was in my kindergarten class at West.  He was a precious little boy and I am sure a fine young man as well.  Please know that I am praying for your family.

Dear family of Jonathan Stewart,
I was distressed to hear of Jonathan's death.  He was a fine young man and a pleasure to have in the classroom.  He was also active in the Alabama Insurance Society where I enjoyed getting to know him and talking about his plans for the future.
Many members of the faculty and former students mourn with you the loss of such a fine person.  I hope you will find some consolation in knowing that he had a favorable influence on so many of us.
