Kenneth D Davis Sr.

He was born in Hartselle, Alabama on June 26, 1926. Ken graduated from Auburn University and received a degree in Business. He was married to Hannah Sullivan Davis for 59 years.

Ken served in WWII in the Army Air Corps as a radio operator and navigator on B-24 bombers. After the war, Ken worked for Birmingham Trust National Bank, later SouthTrust Bank. After many years with the bank he retired as Assistant Vice President, much of that time as a branch manager, in which he enjoyed working with people.

He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Bailey Davis, his mother Janie Nix Davis, and his twin brother Kennis Davis. He is survived by his wife, Hannah of Homewood; sister, Alveta Davis Lynch of Sheffield, AL; sons Kenneth D Davis, Jr. and his wife Lisa Eldredge of New Orleans, LA, and Randall L. Davis and his wife Roberta, of Buford, GA; granddaughters Elizabeth Davis of Houston, TX and Ginny Davis of Buford, GA.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 6, at 2 pm at Southern Heritage Cemetery.
