

Ken worked in marketing at McLeod Software. Prior to that in radio at WERC News/Talk and Magic 96 and earned his degree in Communications from UAB. Ken was an Eagle Scout and active with Troop 97 in Homewood and also Order of the Arrow. He enjoyed volunteering at Trinity and traveled as chaperone on many choir tours with Trinity Cross and Flame youth choir.
Ken is survived by his wife, Katie Kirk and 2 sons, James and David, his siblings Mary Bolden (Stan) and Anne Hentz (Bob) and also many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Kenneth will be held on Thursday, January 6, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Trinity United Methodist Church. The Memorial service will be on Friday, January 7, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Trinity United Methoidst Church.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, 1400 Oxmoor Road, Homewood, AL 35209 , American Cancer Society, or charity of your choice
