He is survived by his mother, Sarah Perry Eubanks and his father Charles Wesley (Maria) Eubanks. He was preceded in death by his loving grandfather Lloyd Milton Perry, Sr. of Acworth Ga.
He leaves surviving grandparents Marguerite Lambert Perry of Acworth, GA, and Lawrence and Lena Eubanks of Slocomb, AL. He has two sisters, Sarah Kathryn Eubanks and Olivia Eubanks and a brother, Robert Eubanks all of Birmingham, Al. He has two uncles, Lloyd Milton Perry Jr. and Jonathan (Kaylee) Eubanks and an aunt, Jenny Eubanks (Danny) Ray.
Wesley was a Christian and an active member at Heritage Place Church of Christ. He attended Jefferson Christian Academy in Irondale, AL from kindergarten through ninth grade. He was then accepted into Jefferson County International Baccalaureate School where he was currently enrolled. Each school was enriched by his presence and he remained active at JCA by helping his sister’s softball and volleyball teams. He was a member of Mu Alpha Theta, the Beta Club, and the National Honor Society at JCIB. He called Camp Mac in Munford, Al his second home among the pines. He served as a CIT and also as a Junior Counselor and dearly loved all who had nurtured him there.
Wesley (17) was wise beyond his years and exhibited such potential that he was considered an exemplary young man both in character and integrity. Always smiling, even through his own battle with Crohns disease, he found a way to make others smile. He carried this smile and Christian character to Heritage Place COC, the halls and classrooms of both schools where he attended and also to the campgrounds of Camp Mac. He had friends too many to name and he loved us all. Most notably he was loved by all and everyone will miss him greatly.
