Lorraine graduated from John Carroll Catholic High School in 1967. To all who knew her, Lorraine was an incredible example of how we should all be in this world, loving and kind, with her tremendous devotion to Pope John Paul II, who also passed on April 2, 2005. Her greatest joy in life was being a mother and grandmother (Sitty) and passing that on to her children, grandchildren and others.
Lorraine dedicated her life to volunteering as a coordinator for Meals on Wheels, Special Olympics bowling, and as an active member at St. Elias Maronite Catholic Church through the Ladies Altar Society and parish council.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Gloria (Pharo) Stephens, her brothers, Deacon Joe Stephens and Hixie Stephens, sister, Janice Stephens Adams and sister-in-law, Karen Domit Stephens.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Albert Earl Dabney, Jr.; two sons, Albert III “Buddy” (Natalie) and Stephen; as well as three grandchildren, Julia and Jonathan Dabney and Joseph Ingram; sister, Barbara Stephens Williams (Bobby), brother, Robert Stephens, Jr. (Suzi), sister-in-law, Jenny Stephens and brother-in-law, Robert H. Adams, Jr. Lorraine is leaving behind a large extended family of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
